Make the most of your gadgets!
I feel like a home theater is a symbol of a rich man. I thought, but if I wanted to do it, I could do it. The theater room is certainly a privilege for the rich, but if you like gadgets, you may be able to use your own equipment. We have summarized the models and methods that can utilize smart speakers as a sound system.
First of all, Amazon and Apple smart speakers have a home theater function. In Amazon's Echo series, Echo Dot (4th generation), Echo Studio, and Echo Sub are relatively good and recommended. For Apple, HomePod and HomePod mini are OK. Unfortunately, there is no Nest product, Chromecast at this time. However, it seems that he is motivated, so he should respond soon. Surely someday.
Use your HomePod / HomePod mini as your TV's audio settings. The TV needs a connection to Apple TV 4K. The speaker, Apple TV 4K, and device (iPhone / iPad / Mac) that uses the Home app must be in the same room.
If you are using two speakers, pair them as if they were stereo speakers. From the Home app, select HomePod and tap "Create Stereo Pair" from the settings icon. Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the settings.
After setting, when using Apple TV 4K, there will be an option to "use Apple TV speakers". If not, select Audi from the Apple TV 4K app settings. You can also set your HomePod to default.
If you want to use Echo, you need to connect your Fire TV to your TV. Since the connection is set up via the Alexa app, you need to log in to the same Amazon account, including the smartphone.
Tap "Home Theater" from "Combine speakers" on the + icon on the terminal tab. I choose a Fire TV terminal and an Echo speaker, but it is necessary to set one as a single speaker and two as a stereo speaker (set left and right). Of course, the Echo Sub can be added as a woofer. Save the settings as. After that, turn on the TV and Fire TV will complete the setting. After setting, an audio preview message will appear, so let's check it.
Both methods require Apple TV 4K and Fire TV as well as Smartphone. I wonder if it's an easy way for users who are already on the Siri or Alexa ecosystem.
